The 100A AVP device is installed between your mains (Eskom) incoming power and your distribution board (or inverter) to protect your whole home. This inexpensive device protects your Inverter and generator Auto switch (ATS).
In addition to protecting your equipment, the AVP100 also allows you to delay the restoration of mains from between 10 seconds and 10 minutes. This allows the grid to settle after loadshedding before mains power is fed to your appliances, inverter or ATS box. This first line of defence can assist in reducing the risk of your more expensive equipment being damaged.
